The Room Next Door (2024)
Ingrid, eine Freundin von Marthas Mutter, wird Zeugin des Schmerzes und der Verbitterung der beiden. Martha ist Kriegsberichterstatterin, Ingrid ist Autorin von Romanen. Beide beschäftigt so auf unterschiedliche Arten und Weisen die grenzenlose Grausamkeit von Kriegen und wie diese Realität in den unterschiedlichen Dareichungsformen der beiden Frauen abgebildet werden kann. In einem Haus inmitten eines Naturschutzgebietes in Neuengland treffen sich die beiden Freundinnen nach etlichen Jahren wieder und erleben schließlich eine Situation, die sowohl extrem als auch überraschend zärtlich ist.
