Narc (2002)
Nick Tellis arbeitet als verdeckter Ermittler in der Drogenszene Detroits. Bei dem Versuch, einen Dealer zu stoppen, erschießt er nicht nur diesen, sondern verletzt dabei auch eine hochschwangere Frau, die daraufhin ihr Kind verliert. Anderthalb Jahre später soll Tellis wieder die Arbeit aufnehmen. Captain Cheevers, sein Vorgesetzter, stellt ihm einen Schreibtischjob in Aussicht, allerdings unter der Bedingung, dass Tellis sich zunächst noch eines Mordfalls im Drogenmilieu annimmt. Vor kurzem wurde der Ermittler Michael Calvess tot aufgefunden. Tellis soll nun gemeinsam mit Calvess' Partner Henry Oak die Umstände aufklären. Dabei muss sich Familienvater Tellis nicht nur der eigenen Vergangenheit stellen, sondern auch mit Oak zurechtkommen. Denn dieser will den Mord an seinem Partner aufklären, unabhängig davon, wie viele Regeln er brechen muss...
