Menschenraub (1956)
Als sein Sohn Andy entführt wird und die Kidnapper ein Lösegeld von 500.000 Dollar fordern, beschafft David Stannard (Glenn Ford) das geforderte Geld. Doch plötzlich ändert er seinen Plan und präsentiert das Geld im Fernsehen – mit dem Kommentar, dass er nicht bereit ist, auch nur einen Cent Lösegeld zu bezahlen, und er das Geld auf die Köpfe der Entführer aussetzen wird, wenn Andy nicht umgehend und unverletzt
