Alexander Scourby (13. November 1913 – 22. Februar 1985) war ein US-amerikanischer Film-, Fernseh- und Synchronsprecher, bekannt für seine tiefe und sonore Stimme. Er erlangte vor allem Bekanntheit durch seine Rolle als skrupelloser Mafiaboss Mike Lagana in Fritz Langs „Heißes Eisen“ (1953) und ist in der englischsprachigen Welt insbesondere für seine bahnbrechenden Aufnahmen der gesamten King-James-Bibel als Hörbuch in Erinnerung geblieben, die in zahlreichen Ausgaben erschienen sind. Später nahm er auch die gesamte Revised Standard Version der Bibel auf. Scourby sprach 422 Hörbücher für Blinde ein, die er als sein wichtigstes Werk betrachtete. In der Hörbuchbranche gilt er als einer der größten Sprecher: „Seine Stimme gilt als die großartigste, die je aufgenommen wurde.“
