The Normal Heart (2014)
Ned Weeks ist Aktivist für Homosexuellen-Rechte im New York der frühen 80er Jahre. Er befindet sich auf der Suche nach Antworten auf die Frage hin, warum die amerikanische Regierung den sich rasch ausbreitenden HIV-Virus in der homosexuellen Bevölkerung zu konsequent ignoriert. Dabei verliebt er sich in den Aidskranken Reporter Felix Turner, der ebenfalls in dieser Sache ermittelt.
