Radio-DJ Harley Henderson aus Deadwood am Fuße des Mount Rushmore in South Dakota gibt wenig auf Umweltschutz und viel auf 80er-Jahre-Rockmusik. So ist er wild entschlossen, eine Art neues Woodstockfestival anzuzetteln in einem vormals friedvollen Waldgebiet, wo neben Bären und Hirschen auch der berühmte Bigfoot seine Kreise zieht. Aufs Äußerste empört über die Geräuschbelästigung greift der haarige Waldmann zur Notwehr und tötet Konzertbesucher wie Popstars, wo immer er einen zu packen bekommt.
