Ein Hund namens Beethoven (1992)
Als kleiner Welpe entkommt Bernhardiner Beethoven ruchlosen Tierfängern und läuft der typisch amerikanischen Familie Newton zu. Die Kinder schließen den Hund sofort in ihr Herz, und selbst der mürrische Papa George mag Beethoven trotz all seiner Streiche. Aber die Tierdiebe ruhen nicht: Mit einem gemeinen Trick täuscht der Tierarzt Dr. Varnick vor, Beethoven hätte ihn angefallen. Die Drohung mit einer Anzeige bringt die Newtons dazu, die heißgeliebte Töle zu Varnick zum Einschläfern zu bringen. Tatsächlich will der Beethoven für gemeine Experimente mißbrauchen. Zum Glück kommt Papa George den Gaunern rechtzeitig auf die Schliche.
