Norman und seine Frau Ethel machen wie jedes Jahr Urlaub am Goldenen See. Doch dieses Mal taucht auch Tochter Chelsea mit ihrem Verlobten Bill und ihrem Sohn dort auf. Es kommt zu Spannungen zwischen den beiden Männern.
