Doc Hollywood (1991)
Der junge Arzt Benjamin Stone ist unterwegs nach Los Angeles, wo er seinen neuen Job als Schönheitschirurg antreten will. Er verläßt den Highway, um einem Stau auszuweichen, und landet bei einem Crash in einem Vorgarten der kleinen Stadt Grady. Er wird zu 32 Stunden Strafarbeit im örtlichen Krankenhaus verdonnert. Anfangs will er nur schnell weg, doch die Einwohner scheinen den neuen Doktor zu mögen, und dann ist da noch die hübsche Krankenwagenfahrerin Lou.
