Iris (2001)
Die gefeierte Literatin Iris Murdoch heiratet in den 50er Jahren den Literaturkritiker John Bayley. Die selbstbewußte Iris hat in der Ehe das Sagen und lebt ihr Leben mit anderen Männern und Frauen aus. Trotzdem bleiben beide ein Paar und wachsen langsam zusammen, bis 1997 bei Iris Alzheimer diagnostiziert wird. Allmählich vergißt sie alles, doch John gibt sie um keinen Preis der Welt auf. Er bemüht sich, sie auch jetzt zu verstehen und ihr das Gefühl von Nähe zu geben...
