Wilde Kreaturen (1997)
Der Medien-Mogul Rod McCain kennt keine Skrupel. Er kauft den Marwood-Zoo in England auf und will ihn in eine Attraktion verwandeln, die einen dicken Gewinn abwirft. Er schickt seine Marketingmanagerin Willa und seinen Sohn Vince los, die Lage zu checken und Konzepte zur Gewinnmaximierung zu erarbeiten. Sie lernen den spießigen Zoodirektor Rollo kennen, der ein höchst eigenes Konzept zur Steigerung der Besucherzahlen hat. Er will alle niedlichen und harmlosen Tiere erschießen und sie durch gefährliche wilde Kreaturen ersetzen. Denn nur diese Tiere locken die Besucher in den Zoo - so meint er. Aber er rechnet nicht mit dem Widerstand der Tierpfleger, allen voran der Insektenpfleger "Bugsy" Malone. Das Personal denkt gar nicht daran, sich dem Willen des Chefs zu fügen...
