Hausboot (1958)
Der Rechtsanwalt Tom Winston hat alle Hände voll zu tun. Neben seinem Beruf muss er sich ganz alleine um die Erziehung seiner drei Kinder kümmern. Verständlich, dass es bei der liebenswerten Familie drunter und drüber geht. Keine Frage, eine Haushälterin muss her - nur woher? Wie es der Zufall so will, bringen die Kinder nach einem Konzert die temperamentvolle Italienerin Cinzia Zaccardi mit nach Hause. Obwohl sich die Erwachsenen anfangs nicht riechen können, stellt Tom sie ein. Als kurze Zeit später das Haus durch ein Zugunglück verwüstet wird, ist das Chaos perfekt. Der einzige Ausweg ist das enge Hausboot der Familie. Bravissimo, denn hier zeigt sich, dass Cinzia von Hausarbeit nicht den blassesten Schimmer hat. Nein, ihre Qualitäten liegen zum Vergnügen der Kinder auf ganz anderen Gebieten. Wie auch Tom zu seiner Überraschung bald feststellen muss...
