Die schreckliche Wahrheit (1937)
Jerry und Lucy stehen kurz vor der Scheidung und feilschen um das Sorgerecht für den gemeinsamen Hund Mr. Smith. Kurz bevor die Scheidung rechtskräftig wird, will Jerry plötzlich seine Frau zurückerobern – und muss feststellen, dass diese sich inzwischen dazu entschlossen hat, ein Landei zu heiraten. Jerry revanchiert sich, indem er seine Verlobung mit der aristokratischen Molly Lamont bekannt gibt.
