Orangen zu Weihnachten (2012)
Die kleine Rose wächst im Greenwoods Waisenhaus bei der gutmütigen Mrs. Hartley in einer liebevollen Umgebung auf. Sie versteht sich wunderbar mit den anderen Kindern und scheint alles zu haben, was sie zum glücklichen Leben braucht. Doch eines Tages kommt alles anders: Rose wird in das Irongates Waisenhaus gebracht und anstelle der Wärme und Freundlichkeit von Mrs. Hartley erwartet sie hier die Strenge des kaltherzigen Schulleiters Mr. Crampton. Der einzige Lichtblick bietet sich den Kindern zum Weihnachtsfest, denn dann soll jedes Kind eine Orange vom spendablem Bruder des Schulleiters erhalten. Rose‘ Vorfreude erhält jedoch bald einen Dämpfer und schließlich liegt es an ihr und den anderen Waisenkindern, das Weihnachtsfest zu retten.
