Voller Wunder ist das Leben (1955)
Der kleine Joe lebt mit seiner Familie in einem recht ärmlichen Viertel von London, im Umkreis der Petticoat Lane. Kurz nachdem ihm der Schneider Kandinsky an Weihnachten die alte Legende vom wundertätigen Einhorn erzählt hat, das Wünsche wahr machen kann, begegnet der Junge einer Ziege, die nur noch eines ihrer Hörner besitzt. Joe ist davon überzeugt, dass er es mit dem sagenumwobenen Einhorn zu tun hat. Flugs versucht er, seinen Nachbarn und Bekannten unter die Arme zu greifen, indem er mit dem Einhorn ihre Wünsche erfüllt. Und zur Überraschung aller ist er dabei sogar erfolgreich: Schneider Kandinsky kommt zu seiner ersehnten Dampfpresse, Sonia heiratet den schon lange von ihr bewunderten Sam, der auch noch bei einem Kampf im Ring erfolgreich ist. Doch wie lange wird der Zauber anhalten?
