Brenda D. M. De Banzie war eine britische Bühnen- und Filmschauspielerin. Sie war die Tochter von Edward De Banzie und seiner zweiten Ehefrau Dorothy, die er 1908 heiratete. 1911 lebte die Familie in Salford. Sie spielte Maggie Hobson in David Leans Verfilmung von „Hobson’s Choice“ (1954) an der Seite von John Mills und Charles Laughton. Ihre bekannteste Filmrolle war die der Phoebe Rice, der unglücklichen Ehefrau des Komikers Archie Rice (gespielt von Laurence Olivier), in der Verfilmung von „The Entertainer“ aus dem Jahr 1960. Sie trat auch am Broadway in John Osbornes Originalstück auf, wofür sie eine Tony-Award-Nominierung erhielt. Weitere denkwürdige Filmrollen hatte sie in „Der Mann, der zuviel wusste“ (1956) unter der Regie von Alfred Hitchcock und „Der rosarote Panther“ (1963) unter der Regie von Blake Edwards.
