The Saints - Sie kannten kein Gesetz (2013)
Das kriminelle Liebespaar Ruth Guthrie und Bob Muldoon wird bei einem Überfall von der Polizei umzingelt. Ruth trifft mit einem ihrer Schüsse den Polizisten Patrick Wheeler, der jedoch nicht tödlich verwundet wird. Bob nimmt die Schuld auf sich und behauptet, dass er den Schuss abgefeuert habe. Er geht ins Gefängnis, während die schwangere Ruth zu ihrem Ziehvater Skerritt zieht. Nach vier Jahren gelingt Bob, der Tag und Nacht von seiner Geliebten träumt, die Flucht. Er will sein Kind sehen und mit Ruth wiedervereint werden. Doch der Polizist Wheeler hat sich inzwischen mit Ruth angefreundet und sieht sich als Beschützer der Kleinfamilie. Und auch Skerritt will das erneute Aufeinandertreffen zwischen Ruth und Bob verhindern.
