In dieser wahren Geschichte steckt eine Familie in einer tiefen Krise. Jack musste seine Familie vor einem Jahr nach sexuellen Handlungen mit seiner minderjährigen Tochter verlassen. Seine Frau Carol will den Faden wieder aufnehmen, und sie beschließt, Jack zusammen mit ihren Kindern eine zweite Chance zu geben. Er darf unter strengen Auflagen zu seiner Familie zurückkehren.
