Robert Urich (19. Dezember 1946 – 16. April 2002) war ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. Er spielte die Hauptrolle in den Fernsehserien „Spenser: For Hire“ (1985–1988) und „Vega$“ (1978–1981). Im Laufe der Jahre wirkte er auch in anderen Fernsehserien mit, darunter „S.W.A.T.“ (1975), „Soap“ (1977) und „The Lazarus Man“ (1996), sowie in mehreren Kinofilmen wie „Turk 182!“, „The Ice Pirates“ und „Magnum Force“. Urich starb 2002 in Thousand Oaks, Kalifornien. Der Schauspieler gab 1996 bekannt, dass er an einem Synovialsarkom, einer seltenen Krebsart, die die Gelenke befällt, erkrankt war und unterzog sich in den letzten Jahren seines Lebens mehreren Behandlungen.
