White Nights - Nacht der Entscheidung (1985)
Der russische Balletttänzer Nikolai Rodchenko ist vor Jahren aus der Sowjetunion in den Westen geflohen und hat sich geschworen, nie wieder einen Fuß in seine Heimat zu setzen. Doch als er eines Tages mit dem Flugzeug über der UdSSR abstürzt, will ihn der KGB der Bevölkerung als reumütigen Abtrünnigen präsentieren. Notgedrungen kehrt Nikolai ans Leningrader Kirow-Theater zurück, wo er gemeinsam mit dem während des Vietnamkriegs übergelaufenen amerikanischen Steptänzer Raymond Greenwood seine Flucht plant.
