Love Nest (1951)
Der zwar noch erfolglose, aber dauernd auf Erfolg hoffende Schriftsteller Jim Scott zieht gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Connie in den Keller eines Apartment-Gebäudes, welches sie gemeinsam gekauft haben. Dabei hofft der Autor, dass sich seine finanzielle Lage demnächst verbessern wird, was bei den Erhaltungskosten für das Gebäude und den täglichen Notwendigkeiten der Mieter gar nicht so einfach ist. Als dann noch der Bewohner und Betrüger Charley Patterson die freundliche Eadie Gaynor im Haus betrügen will, bricht ein kleines Chaos aus.
