Der große Macher (1997)
Michael Moore, Amerikas liebster "Nestbeschmutzer", hat wieder zugeschlagen. Dieses mal geht er auf große Werbetournee für sein neues Buch, durch 47 Städte und forscht dabei der Frage nach: "Warum entlassen die großen Firmen, trotz dicker und steigender Profiten, jedes Jahr Tausende von Mitarbeitern?" Außerdem macht er bei "Nike"-Chef Phil Knight halt und erkundigt sich bei ihm, warum er seine Schuhe in Indonesien für einen Hungerlohn herstellen läßt, während im eigenen Land Millionen Menschen Arbeitslos sind! Und dabei nimmt er kein Blatt vor den Mund und bleibt trotzdem fair!
