Alle Liebe dieser Welt (1996)
Texas in 1930er Jahren: Die junge Lehrerin Novalyne Price (Renée Zellweger) trifft auf den attraktiven Robert E. Howard (Vincent D’Onofrio). Robert, genannt Bob, ist ein talentierter, aber exzentrischer Schriftsteller und der Schöpfer der berühmten Romanfigur Conan der Cimmerier, besser bekannt als: Conan der Barbar. Zwischen Novalyne und Bob entwickelt sich zunächst eine Freundschaft, dann Liebe, doch Bob kann sich nicht von seiner Mutter lösen.
