Ashes and Snow (2005)
Der Film des kanadischen Künstlers GREGORY COLBERT ist ewas ganz besonders. Er ist Teil einer Installation mit dem Namen „Ashes and Snow“ und wurde schon in mehreren Metropolen in speziellen Container-Räumen vorgeführt. „Ashes and Snow“ ist der poetische Versuch, die Beziehung zwischen Mensch und wilden Tieren in ihrer Umgebung mit ganz neuen Mitteln einzufangen. Gregory hat dazu zehn Jahre lang photographiert und gefilmt und hunderte von Stunden eingesetzt, um eine natürliche Ambiance zu schaffen, dieses Projekt zu realisieren. Leider sind im Moment keine weiteren Ausstellungen geplant. Es bleibt zu hoffen, dass „Ashes and Snow“ in weiteren Städten präsentiert wird. Geniesse diesen Film und erlebe eine neue Welt der Kommunikation zwischen Mensch und Tier.
