Vampire Academy (2014)
Coole Partys und jede Menge Herzklopfen: Es scheint, als führten die 17-Jährige Rose und ihre beste Freundin Lissa ein ganz normales Teenager-Leben. Doch die beiden Girls haben einen ziemlich ungewöhnlichen Stundenplan. Da passiert es schon mal, dass ein wenig Blut an ihren Lippen hängen bleibt – besonders, wenn man dazu ausgebildet wird… Denn Rose ist kein gewöhnliches Mädchen: Sie ist halb Vampir, halb Mensch. An der Vampire Academy wird sie zur Kämpferin ausgebildet, um die friedlichen Vampire der Moroi gegen die feindlichen Vampire der Strigoli zu beschützen. Diese haben es ausgerechnet auf das Leben von Lissa abgesehen, die dazu bestimmt ist, einmal Königin der Moroi zu werden. Als wäre das nicht schon genug Aufregung in Rose‘ Leben, bringt sie auch noch ihr Trainer und Mentor Dimitri ziemlich durcheinander
