Spuren (2013)
1975 kommt die junge Robyn Davidson mit einem scheinbar verrückten Traum nach Alice Springs: Sie will zu Fuß die australische Wüste druchqueren. 2.700 Kilometer von Alice Springs bis zum Indischen Ozean - eine lebensfeindliche Wildnis, begleitet von vier Kamelen und ihrem Hund. Weder Freunde noch Eltern noch entstehende Hindernisse können Robyn von Ihrem Plan abbringen. Kurz vor Beginn ihrer Reise bekommt Robyn die Zusage zur Finanzierung von National Geographic. Der Fotograf Rick Smolan wird sie dafür auf ausgewählten Stationen begleiten, um sie für das Magazin zu fotografieren.
