Anna Nicole - Leben und Tod eines Playmates (2013)
Vickie Lynn Marshall (Agnes Bruckner) träumt schon seit ihrer Kindheit davon, Karriere in Hollywood zu machen. Nach einer gescheiterten Ehe mit Billy Smith, entscheidet sie sich aus dem texanischen Mexia nach Houston zu ziehen, wo sie als Stripperin arbeitet. Eines Tages entdeckt ein Modelagentur-Fotograf Bilder von ihr und sieht großes Potenzial. Daraufhin lässt sich Vickie ihre Brüste vergrößern und nimmt ab, um ihrem Vorbild Marilyn Monroe ähnlicher zu sein. Das Playboy-Magazin lädt sie zum Shooting ein und einige Zeit später wird das inzwischen unter dem Namen Anna Nicole Smith bekannte Model gar zum Playmate des Jahres gewählt. Schlagzeilen macht Anna Nicole außerdem als sie den 89jährigen Milliardär J. Howard Marshall (Martin Landau) heiratet. Doch die Berühmtheit bringt auch dunkle Seiten mit sich, denn Anna Nicole feiert ihren Erfolg mit ausartenden Alkohol- und Drogenexzessen und muss bald bitter dafür bezahlen.
