Smoke Signals (1998)
Victor (Adam Beach) und Thomas (Evan Adams) leben in Idaho in einem Reservat. Die beiden Indianer würde nichts miteinander verbinden, wäre da nicht Victors Vater, der Thomas einmal aus einem Feuer gerettet hat. Als Victor 12 Jahre alt war, hat er seinen Vater das letzte Mal gesehen. Jetzt hört er davon, daß sein Vater in Arizona gestorben ist. Victor will die Asche seines Vaters nach Idaho holen. Doch leider hat Victor nicht genug Geld, um diese lange Reise zu finanzieren. Da kommt ihm der leicht spinnende Thomas gerade recht.
