Felony - Ein Moment kann alles verändern (2014)
Die Polizei plant, eine Verbrecherbande in einem Lagerhaus hochzunehmen. Während der Aktion wird der Polizist Malcolm Toohey (Joel Edgerton) angeschossen. Trotzdem gelingt die Operation und der Verwundete wird von seinen Kollegen inoffiziell zum Polizeihelden gekürt. Doch sein kurzer Höhenflug findet ein abruptes Ende, als er einen Autounfall hat, in dessen Folge ein Kind ins Koma fällt. Tooheys Gewissen plagen fortan schwere Schuldfragen. Zwar bekommt er von seinem älteren Kollegen Detective Carl Summer (Tom Wilkinson) Unterstützung dabei, die Tat zu vertuschen. Aber Jim Melic (Jai Courtney) hat eine andere Perspektive auf Tooheys Unfall und ist drauf und dran, die wahren Hintergründe des brisanten Zwischenfalls aufzudecken...
