The Minus Man (1999)
Ein Serienkiller durchstreift das Land, und weil der junge, höfliche Mann eher Beschützer- und Liebesinstinkte statt Fluchtreflexe weckt, holt manches Opfer sich seinen Sensenmann selbst ins Haus. So geht es auch einem gar nicht glücklich verheirateten Ehepaar: Er mag den jungen Mann, weil er in dem Fremdling einen Ersatz für sein vor Jahren verschwundenes Kind wähnt, sie ist dagegen, findet sich aber mit seiner Gegenwart ab. Das Leben scheint sich zu normalisieren für den Drifter, Liebe keimt in der neuen Bürgerlichkeit. Doch kann er über seinen mörderischen Schatten springen?
