Police Story - Back for Law (2013)
Der Interpol-Agent Zhong Wen ist in Hongkong tätig, wo auch seine Tochte Miao Miao lebt. Allerdings ist das Verhältnis der beiden seit Längerem zerrüttet. Eine Überraschung im postitiven Sinne ist für Wen deshalb die Idee seiner Tochter, für ein Treffen in einer Bar. Der Grund für das Treffen ist für den Polizei-Veteran allerdings weniger erfreulich, teilt ihm seine Tochter doch mit, dass sie eine Beziehung mit dem kriminellen Besitzer der Bar hat. Zu spät realisiert Wen, dass dieser Miao Miao nur benutzt, um den Polizisten und die restlichen Gäste der Bar als Geiseln zu nehmen, um damit die Freilassung eines Häftlings zu erwirken. Doch so leicht lässt sich Wen nicht übertölpeln und nimmt trotz der verzwickten Lage den Kampf mit dem Erpresser und seinen Helfern auf.
