Am Abgrund der Nacht (1994)
Der Architekt Connor Ashcroft gilt als der Hauptverdächtige im Mordfall an seiner jungen Freundin. Er wird in Untersuchungshaft gesteckt. Trotzdem ist der stadtbekannte Playboy schon bald wieder auf freiem Fuß. Selbst die erfahrene Polizistin Melanie Hudson erliegt dem verführerischen Charme Ashcrofts und beginnt eine heiße Affäre mit ihm. Doch ihr Kollege Nathan ermittelt auf eigene Faust weiter und erhält schon bald einige Hinweise darauf, dass Melanie durchaus das nächste Opfer sein könnte…
