Eine Nervensäge (1992)
Thane Furrows ist ein Kinderbuchautor. Er gilt als begabt, aber zynisch und verbringt die meiste Zeit in seinem Haus. Sein laute Musik hörender Nachbar, seine dominante Mutter und ein Versicherungsvertreter belästigen ihn häufig und regen auf. Furrows bekommt eines Tages Anrufe und Briefe sowie hört Stimmen, die verkünden, dass um 20 Uhr etwas besonderes passieren soll. Sein Freund Al Dalby besucht ihn. Später wird Furrows mit dem personifizierten Tod konfrontiert.
