Vorhof zum Paradies (1978)
Die drei Brüder Cosmo, Lenny und Victor leben im New York des Jahres 1946. Ihre Revier ist 'Hell's Kitchen', eine verrufene und üble Gegend. Die drei versuchen sich mit allerlei Tricks und kleinen Betrügerein über Wasser zu halten, bis Cosmo und Lenny die Idee haben, ihren muskelbepackten kleinen Bruder beim Catchen zu managen. 'Kid Salami', so nennt sich Victor nun, ist eigentlich ein sanfter Riese, aber bei den Kämpfen in der 'Paradise Alley', einer zwielichten Arena für Schaukämpfe, wird er bald zum gefürchteten Gegner und alles läuft nach Plan, bis Gangsterboss Stitch einen gefährlichen Ringer namens 'Frankie the Thumper' gegen 'Salami' auf die Matte schickt.
