Joe Spinell (geboren als Joseph Spagnuolo) war ein US-amerikanischer Charakterdarsteller, der in den 1970er- und 1980er-Jahren in Filmen sowie in verschiedenen Bühnenproduktionen am und abseits des Broadway auftrat. Bis zu seinem Tod im Jahr 1989 umfasste seine Karriere Nebenrollen von kleinen bis hin zu größeren Filmen wie Der Pate (1972), Der Pate – Teil II (1974), Rocky (1976), Rocky II (1979), Taxi Driver (1976), Sorcerer (1977) und Cruising (1980). Daneben spielte Spinell Hauptrollen in Horrorfilmen wie in Maniac (1980).
