Incarnate - Teuflische Besessenheit (2016)
Der unkonventionelle Exorzist Dr. Ember (Aaron Eckhart) hat die Fähigkeit, in die unbewusste Gedankenwelt von Menschen einzutauchen, die von Dämonen besessen sind. So kann er die finsteren Mächte von innen heraus bekämpfen und austreiben, ohne sich kirchlicher Rituale zu bedienen. Doch als er sich um den elfjährigen Jungen Cameron (David Mazouz) kümmern und ihn aus den Fängen der Besessenheit befreien muss, droht er an seine Grenzen zu stoßen: Er wird mit dem Dämon Maggie aus seiner Vergangenheit konfrontiert, der ihn schon damals vor einer großen Herausforderung stellte, indem er seineFrau und seinen Sohn bei einem Autounfall getötet hat. Das teuflische Wesen ist mit Kräften ausgestattet, die alles bisher Gesehene übertreffen und mit denen er droht, den Teufelsaustreiber ins Verderben zu stürzen.
