In einer Vollmondnacht wird Warlock, Satans Sohn, im modernen New York wiedergeboren, um seinen Vater aus der Hölle zu befreien. Sieben Tage bleiben ihm zwischen Mond- und Sonnenfinsternis, um sechs magische, seit Jahrhunderten verschollene Runensteine zu finden. Einzeln unbrauchbar, beschwören die Steine zusammen das Armageddon herauf - eine Macht so gewaltig, dass die Pforten der Hölle zerbrechen und die Heerscharen der Finsternis die Erde mit ihrem blutigen Krieg überziehen werden. Es gibt nur zwei Menschen, die sich Warlock in den Weg stellen könnten: Kenny und Samantha, Teenager in einer südkalifornischen Kleinstadt, sind die letzten lebenden Nachfahren der mächtigen Druidenpriester. Sie allein haben die übernatürliche Kraft, Warlock aufzuhalten und die Welt vor dem Untergang zu bewahren.
