Königin Viktoria (1937)
Im Juni 1837 erfährt die achtzehnjährige englische Prinzessin Viktoria, dass ihr Onkel William IV. soeben verstorben ist, wodurch sie die Thronfolge antreten darf. Auf Anraten ihres ersten Premierministers Lord Melbourne fasst Viktoria eine Ehe ins Auge. Im Februar 1840 heiratet sie ihren deutschen Cousin Albert. Schon bald wird Albert zu ihrem wichtigsten Berater, aber auch zu ihrem Lebensretter, als ein Attentäter sie im November 1941 erschießen will. Seinerzeit überaus erfolgreiche Filmbiografie, in der Anna Neagle die englische Königin Viktoria verkörpert.
