Unter Verdacht (1991)
Ex-Cop Tony Aaron ist spezialisiert auf Scheidungsangelegenheiten, die er mit Hilfe seiner Gattin als angeblicher Geliebten ehemüder Herren löst. Eines Tages wird sein Klient, der Maler Stasio samt Mrs. Aaron erschossen. Der Daumen des Künstlers, mit dessen Abdruck er seine Werke signierte, ist abgeschnitten. Die Polizei verdächtigt Aaron, die Gattin des Künstlers Selina und Angelina, um derentwillen Stasio sich scheiden lassen wollte. Die Schlinge zieht sich um Tonys Hals zusammen. Er wird zum Tode verurteilt. Erst im letzten Moment, findet sein Polizistenfreund Frank den Daumen und kann beweisen, daß Angelina die Mörderin sein muß. Sie wird verurteilt. Das ausgekochte Spiel aber war von Selina und Tony arrangiert.
