Suite Française - Melodie der Liebe (2015)
Die junge Lucille Angellier lebt während des Zweiten Weltkriegs im besetzten Frankreich. Da ihr Ehemann in den Krieg gezogen ist, wartet sie nun gemeinsam mit ihrer dominanten Schwiegermutter auf Nachricht von ihm. Doch ihr Leben wird gehörig durcheinander gewirbelt, als eines Tages mehrere Flüchtlinge aus Paris und wenig später auch eine Kompanie deutscher Soldaten in ihrem Dorf eintreffen. Da die Unterbringung letzterer den Einwohnern zukommt, sollen die Angelliers den deutschen Offizier Bruno von Falk bei sich beherbergen. Dies gestaltet sich nur deswegen als heikel, weil Lucille gleichzeitig den flüchtigen Bauern Benoit versteckt hält, sondern auch, da sie sich im Laufe des Aufenthalts der Deutschen mehr und mehr zum kultivierten Bruno hingezogen fühlt, mit dem sie ihre Leidenschaft für Musik und das Klavierspiel teilt.
