Ohm Krüger (1941)
Paul „Ohm“ Krüger stammt aus einer Familie deutscher und niederländischer Kolonialisten und gehört zu den in Südafrika ansässigen Buren. Als die vor einiger Zeit aus ihrem Bezirk vertriebenen Buren aber auf immense Bodenschätze stoßen wird das Interesse der britischen Besatzer wach – doch Paul Krüger führt sein Volk in einen Krieg gegen die englische Übermacht. Der Kampf scheint hoffnungslos zu sein…
