In der Hölle von Missouri (1950)
Auf ihrer Reise vom kühlen Osten Amerikas ins paradiesische Kalifornien gerät Beth Martin (Adele Mara) zwischen die Fronten zweier Männer. Die Saloon-Betreiber Mike Prescott (Forrest Tucker) und Lincoln Corey (Jim Davis) buhlen um Beth. Zwischen den Konkurrenten herrschte schon zuvor eine heiße Fehde. Einen klaren Vorsprung hat Mike sich allein damit erarbeitet, als er Beth vor den Indianern rettete.
