Der Ghul (1933)
Professor Moriant, Experte für ägyptischen Okkultismus, ist davon überzeugt, daß er den Weg zu ewigem Leben gefunden hat. Hierfür muß man ihn mit dem Edelstein "Das ewige Licht" beerdigen, damit er anschließend ewiges Leben an der Seite des Gottes Anubis genießen kann. Als Professor Moriant stirbt, wird er neben einer Anubis-Statue in einer Gruft beigesetzt. Doch schon bald entbrennt ein verhängnisvoller Kampf um den Edelstein...
