Sie nannten ihn King (1965)
Der Film erzählt von den Hehlereien eines geschäftstüchtigen GIs in einem japanischen Kriegsgefangenenlager. Er trotzt den menschenunwürdigen Zuständen, manipuliert seine Umgebung und kontrolliert schließlich die Schwarzmarktgeschäfte im Lager, bis er eine Machtposition genießt, die weit über seinen militärischen Rang und seine gesellschaftliche Stellung hinausgeht. Der Film handelt vom Kampf eines Mannes, der um jeden Preis überleben und zu Reichtum kommen will.
