Man Down (2016)
Von einem Schlachtfeld geht es sofort in die nächste Trümmerlandschaft: Als der Kriegsveteran Gabriel Drummer (Shia LaBeouf) aus Afghanistan in die Vereinigten Staaten zurückkehrt, findet er sich unerwartet in einer post-apokalyptischen Welt wieder. Der schwertraumatisierte Soldat tut sich mit seinem besten Freund Devin Roberts (Jai Courtney) und dem Überlebenden Charles (Clifton Collins Jr.) zusammen, um in der Ödnis der zerstörten Welt zu überleben, wobei sich ihre militärischen Fähigkeiten als überaus nützlich erweisen. Für Gabriel geht es jedoch nicht nur um sein Überleben und das seiner Gefährten, sondern auch um das seiner Frau Natalie (Kate Mara) und seines Sohnes Jonathan (Charlie Shotwell). Er lässt sich auf die Hilfe weiterer ehemaliger Militärs ein, darunter Captain Peyton (Gary Oldman)...
