Der Leichendieb (1945)
Schottland im Jahre 1831: Der ehemalige Chirurg und jetzige Lehrer an der Universität Edinburgh MacFarlane bezahlt den Kutscher Gray dafür, dass dieser ihm Leichen für die Anatomie vom Friedhof bringt. Um den Geldstrom nicht abreißen zu lassen, wird Gray zum Mörder. Als MacFarlane dies herausbekommt, erpresst ihn Gray. Bald wird MacFarlane klar, dass Gray nie von ihm ablassen wird und so greift er zu radikalen Methoden...
