Tanz mit mir (1937)
Ballett-Tänzer Peter P. Peters, Künstlername Petrov, lernt durch seine Leidenschaft fürs Stepptanzen und für die Jazz-Musik die Nachtclub-Sängerin Linda kennen, in die er sich verliebt. Auf einem Ozeandampfer kommen sie sich näher. Die Presse berichtet auch gleich davon, dass das Paar verheiratet bereits ist. Weder Linda noch Peter gelingt es, das Gerücht ihrer vermeintlichen Ehe zu zerstreuen, weshalb sie tatsächlich vor den Traualtar treten, um sich anschließend direkt scheiden zu lassen.
