Puffball (2007)
Die junge Architektin Liffey (Kelly Reilly) und ihr Mann Richard (Oscar Pearce) ziehen aufs Land, wo Liffey einen Projektbau verwirklichen will. In der Nähe finden sie eine magische Stätte, die mit dem Gott Odin in Verbindung stehen soll. Hier kommen sie sich näher und zeugen ein Kind. Liffeys Schwangerschaft erfüllt ihre Nachbarin Mabs (Miranda Richardson) mit Eifersucht. Sie wünscht sich seit Langem einen Sohn. Ihre Mutter Molly (Rita Tushingham) will diesem Wunsch mit schwarzer Magie nachhelfen und Liffeys Schwangerschaft dafür ausnutzen.
