Rita Tushingham (* 14. März 1942) ist eine englische Schauspielerin. Bekannt wurde sie durch ihre Hauptrollen in Filmen wie „A Taste of Honey“ (1961), „The Leather Boys“ (1964), „The Knack…and How to Get It“ (1965), „Doktor Schiwago“ (1965) und „Smashing Time“ (1967). Für „A Taste of Honey“ gewann sie den Preis als Beste Hauptdarstellerin bei den Filmfestspielen von Cannes und wurde sowohl bei den BAFTA Awards als auch bei den Golden Globe Awards als Beste Nachwuchsschauspielerin ausgezeichnet. Zu ihren weiteren Filmen zählen „An Awfully Big Adventure“ (1995), „Under the Skin“ (1997) und „Being Julia“ (2004).
