Danach (1969)
London, drei Jahre nach dem dritten, nuklearen Weltkrieg. Der Atomschlag hat die Welt in eine Steinwüste verwandelt. Zwei Dutzend Menschen haben überlebt und versuchen, ihr Leben in alter Manier fortzusetzen. Penelope und Alan wollen eine Familie gründen. Doch um sie herum mutieren die Menschen zu allerhand seltsamen Gestalten.
